The middle of the three “Near Colorless” color grades, ranging from G-I. Color can hardly be detected by anyone other than a professional gemologist. Diamonds in the near colorless color range offer the greatest value.
A loose diamonds color should be one of your main considerations when purchasing a diamond. D thru F colored loose diamonds are considered colorless G thru J are recognized as close to colorless loose diamonds and K-M are loose diamonds that show some color. Loose Diamonds clarity is graded using a magnification of 10x power. In order to accurately grade a loose diamond you must consider two things, both the number of inclusions on the loose diamond and how noticeable they are to the naked eye.
